Allison, I think you have hit the nail close to the head. It isn’t really pornography but it is definitely in the category of “..uncomfortable to look at” and totally creepy. I agree on likening it to the representation of female bodies in ads by and aimed at men, and also agree that if I am turned off, others are also. And I should be brave enough to reply to it and have a right to. And/but I suspect that the admins are cool with it.
But, I just noticed while writing this that Terri posted something on the legal aspect of this: that even if the images were made available by Starz the alteration of them may be a violation. I don’t think that the admins, who are very responsible about things being legal, have looked at it that way. I need to do some thinking about all of this.
