I’m looking forward to it as well! As with Outlander, I love opportunity to see “history come to life” in what seems (to me) to be well researched, complex and intelligent ways. I love the characters of Lagertha and Athelstan, and as was mentioned above, the interplay of faiths and culture. If I’m being honest – I also like Rollo. I could do without so much gore – however, I understand the necessity – they are vikings – and I do find it interesting how they deal with as a culture.
