Yes, Julia. I agree, and would also venture to say that this is EXACTLY what evolution of consciousness can look like, messy, ugly, divisive — but most of all eventually transparent, accepting and forward movement by the majority. But second doesn’t happen without the first. As hard as it is to roll over the rock and shine the light on what’s under it, it’s a good sign, as you say, that the discussion is even being had.
