Yes, yes, and yes.

The book is clearer about why she’s mightily aroused which time restraints don’t allow for. And that was me and the “like someone killed her puppy” and it was totally that for me. The whole episode she looked like that, unlike in the book where she was more like “well, this is all a bit weird, but I don’t want to go back to Ft William so let’s make the best of it!” and she felt less like a bigamist and more like the Claire we know and love–eminently practical. Being married was going to save her from BJR, make her stop being watched all the time, and she was lonely and–I would imagine–terrified.

Poor girl, TV Claire finally stops looking miserable and Harry the Redcoat shows up.
