Adding another layer of discussion, I’ve always been impressed with the amount of sex Jamie and Claire have. I mean, maybe it’s supposed to be a romance novel in some regard, but DAMN. These two are having sex in the fields, the moors, the mountains, the beaches, etc etc.
I’d love to have that much sex, but by the end of the day, we’re too dang tired and busy to do so. We always joke about people who have affairs – we’re to tired to have an affair with each other most of the time, much less go through all the trouble to find someone else.
And the fact that a 4 year old likes to climb in bed between us might be a factor as well.
But Jamie and Claire will fight the redcoats, freeze on a long march, practically starve and then get it on in the bushes later that night.
