One year a friend and I went as Christmas elves. We had found some early Christmas candy the morning of Halloween as we were desperately searching for a costume, and one thing lead to another…Santa hats, holly, paper elf ears, red tights/green shirts, and lots of glitter. People thought it was pretty hysterical (and unexpected when you shout”Merry Christmas!” at them when they’re expecting “trick or treat!”) All it took was some old Christmas decorations and a trip to the craft store.
