I, too, thought the tartan was the hunters plaid for Fraser so didn’t mind in the least. The back story on how it had been appropriated made the hunters plaid more likely than the formal bright red/black Fraser colors in my opinion.

I also agree that the lace was perfect for the man, not too frilly but in keeping with the occasion.

I thought all the costuming was wonderful throughout.
